First appointment with this practice and it was a great experience. I arrived early and was seen within 5 minutes of arrival. Care was efficient and thorough and everyone was super good communicators. Very empathetic staff and great with explaining everything. Super happy to have found a good dentist in SF!

Dr. Santiago Uribe and Staff were great! Dr. Santiage Uribe went out of his way to find an accommodation for me since my skin is not a fan of fluoride toothpaste and showed me X-Rays of where I need to keep an eye and brush more thoroughly. Thank you, Dr. Santiago Uribe!

I had a great experience with Dr. Abhilasha Bal, DDS. She demonstrated excellent bedside manner and made me feel at ease despite my fear of visiting the dentist. For a dental issue I was facing, she thoroughly explained three potential treatment options, provided honest pricing, and shared her professional recommendation without any pressure. Dr. Bal listened carefully to my concerns and addressed them thoughtfully. The entire staff, including the front desk team, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I planned an appointment 2 days before and they reached out to make sure I sent over my information. A little bit confusing but it all got sorted out. They're in the middle of renovations so it was a little bit uncomfortable because they moved me from one room to another. I thought it was a little bit disorganized but the dental hygienist was nice and I appreciated it. She was very thorough. Will return if I need services in SF.

The entire visit was extremely pleasant. During the entire process, everyone was clear in their communications. Dr. Abhilasha Bal was patient and explained how to better take care of my dental health.

Doctor is attentive and helpful. Is not pushy at all about up-selling - just presents options honestly and let's you decide. She's up front about what she thinks is necessary vs just for aesthetics, etc. All staff was very focused on making sure all my needs were addressed and proactively asking what would make me more comfortable. Will definitely be back and will be sending my husband as well.

I arrived at the doctor’s office only to be told my appointment had been canceled with no prior notice.
Staff initially told me Zocdoc was responsible for notifying me. When I explained I had received no communication, they then claimed they had attempted to contact me. When I showed my phone logs with no missed calls or messages, the response shifted to “the system shows…” with no actual evidence.
I contacted Zocdoc directly, and they confirmed that notification of cancellations is the provider’s responsibility, not theirs.
As a result, I wasted my afternoon and incurred unnecessary transportation for an appointment that never should have been canceled without notice. This reflects a complete lack of basic communication and accountability.
Given this experience - and seeing several similar one-star reviews - I would strongly recommend staying away.
