Dr. Verma is a highly regarded general dentist in Dallas County with more than 20 years of dental experience. She is always providing a comprehensive approach for exceptionally skilled and compassionate dental care to her patients, to improve their overall well-being. Dr. Verma joined the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine when she realized over half her patients needed an oral airway evaluation and screening of breathing disorders ranging from snoring to obstructive sleep apnea. This eye-opening discovery to recognize, help with the diagnosis, and ultimately treat sleeping disorders is the reason for the evolution of her Dental Sleep Practice. Bringing this aspect of dentistry into her dental practice has bridges the gap in the important relationship between dentistry and sleep related disorders.
To assist patients in the process of a diagnosis, she provides complimentary consultation appointments. Additionally, she is able to provide assistance for a home sleep study with her z-machine. The test results help her recommend an optimal treatment plan. In promoting optimum oral health and over all wellness, Dr Verma offers a comprehensive array of dental appliances treatments which can effectively reduce obstructive sleep breathing. She is dedicated to earning more than 50 hours of continuing education yearly to keep abreast with the latest and the best techniques in dentistry. In 2000, her dental degree was awarded by Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio where she was an advanced standing student. She then completed two rigorous residency programs. The first was at Northside Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio and her second was at the California Implant Institute, San Diego. Continuing to be the best she can, she has also completed certification courses in Lumineers and Invisalign.
