Worst medical experience. I arrived on time for a physical and to discuss a concern, waited past my scheduled slot, and saw Dr.?Okafor, who seemed rushed. No real physical and no guidance on my current issue other than wait two weeks.
Two weeks later I returned for follow-up, but Dr.?Okafor was absent; Shayla reviewed my results. She was friendly yet hurried, prescribing a medication likely not covered by insurance and another she seemed reluctant to give but called “mandatory.” An extra blood draw was needed because the lab missed some tests. She left before I could clarify what to do if insurance rejected a prescription.
My insurance denied the medication, and the pharmacy awaited a new script. I expected a quick resolution, but nothing happened. I waited for Shayla’s promised callback on Monday, only to receive a hostile call from Diana, who yelled, dismissed my questions, and insisted telehealth was no longer offered.

Attentive, efficient and extremely receptive to the information given regarding my health. Love that he didn’t automatically write a prescription but gave me clear advice on how to improve without medication. Happy to have him as my new pcp.
