VGH Counseling

Starting January 2026, I am pleased to report that I will be able to accept NYCE PPO (Formerly Emblem Health) for New York City Employees. Therapy is a personal journey, and each individual will have issues that need to be addressed and possible solutions that are unique to them. I strive to provide professional intervention that is sensitive to each client's race, culture, religious views, age and sexual orientation. My strengths based approach will help you explore the underlying sources of your concerns, and utilize the power you have within you to develop the skills necessary to make changes in your life. In addition to my practice as Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I am also a Licensed School Counselor who has provided service in the NYC school system for over 30 years. I have extensive experience in working with students with Behavioral issues, Spectrum and ADHD, Bullying and School Phobia. I will always be willing to collaborate with school personnel and other organizations to create a team approach to support a student to reach his full potential. Starting January 2026, I will be able to work with New York City Employees under NYCE PPO.
