Victoria Freeman Therapy
Hi, I’m Victoria Freeman, I’m glad you’re here! I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, I work with people who are tired of holding everything together. The people I serve live with anxiety, depression, low self-worth, burnout, or a quiet sense that they’ve lost touch with themselves somewhere along the way. If you've been the strong one, the responsible one, the one who keeps going no matter what, you don’t have to do that here. With me, you don’t have to pretend you're ok. There is no judgment here, just honesty, patience, and breathing room.
My counseling style is warm, compassionate and collaborative. I care deeply about creating a space where you feel respected, seen, and treated as a whole human being, not a diagnosis. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches, but I use these tools in a grounded, human way.
I’m likely a good fit for you if: You’re someone who feels overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from yourself. You’ve been “pushing through” for a long time, but it’s starting to catch up with you. You carry guilt, shame, grief, or a heaviness you rarely talk about. You want a space where you don’t have to be strong or have it all figured out.
In our sessions, you don’t have to filter anything. We slow down, breathe, and start tapping into what’s been buried , the emotions you’ve had to hold in for too long. Sometimes that means crying. Sometimes it’s silence. Sometimes it’s just naming the heaviness for what it is. My role is to meet you right where you are with no expectations and walk beside you as you begin to reconnect with yourself. Together, we’ll make space for everything you’ve been carrying, and through mindful self-compassion, start to soften the edges of the pain. You won’t have to pretend here. You get to be fully human and we’ll move at your pace, one small, steady step at a time.
My counseling style is compassionate, solution-oriented, and warm. I believe every human being deserves to be treated with respect, dignity, unconditional positive regard. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) approaches to counseling, meeting each individual in their position of life.
I’m the right therapist for you if: You’re a parent who feels overwhelmed, numb, or disconnected. You’ve tried to “push through” but nothing helps for long. You’re carrying guilt, shame, or quiet heaviness you don’t talk about. You want a safe space where you don’t have to be “strong”. You’re open to exploring your emotions without rushing the process. You want a therapist who is deeply present, grounded, and human. You want someone who can sit with your pain without trying to force a silver lining.
If you’re longing to feel alive again — even if you’re scared to hope — you’ll feel validated, understood, and supported here.
