Vida Family Medicine

Dr. Berens provides primary care and chronic disease management for the whole family, but she specializes in Women's Health and Fourth-Trimester Care. She is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and can provide unique and comprehensive care to new families including in-home newborn care, postpartum care, and lactation support. Our membership model and limited practice size allows her to spend time at each appointment getting to know you and addressing all of your concerns. She is also available to communicate with you directly between appointments. This strong doctor-patient relationship allows her to provide more personalized care tailored to you. We take our patients' time seriously: there is minimal to no time spent in the waiting room, and we aim to provide same or next day availability to our members. In order to provide this superior service, we do not bill any insurance companies. Primary care visits are available under our membership plan only. Membership is affordable and is ideal for patients without access to traditional insurance plans due to cost. Lactation consults and limited women's health services are available on a per-visit basis. Payment is required at time of service and patients will be provided a Superbill for these services that can be submitted for out-of-network reimbursement if your insurance company offers this.
