Compassion, understanding and tender loving care from a skilled physician with the knowledge and experience of delivering more than 9200 babies. Dr. Evans has delivered joy to parents for more than thirty-four years. He is dedicated to professional, personalized women’s healthcare from adolescence to menopause including obstetrics & gynecology, infertility, endometriosis, gynecological disorders, menopause, hysterectomy, bladder repair, urinary incontinence, reconstructive pelvic surgery, laparoscopic surgery, vaginal repair and rejuvenation, and the latest minimally invasive techniques to treat abnormal bleeding, fibroids and endometriosis such as Novasure and Her Option endometrial ablation, many of which can be done right in his convenient Margot Perot office.
Dr. Walter Evans is an alumnus of Dartmouth College and a graduate of Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. He completed his ob/gyn residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a member of the Accreditation Council for Gynecologic Endoscopy, and an associate clinical professor at UT Southwestern Medical School. He also serves on the executive committee of the Southwest Gynecologic Assembly.
Dr. Evans has been certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1986, is an associate clinical professor at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical School, and a member of the Accreditation Council for Gynecologic Endoscopy. He is an exclusive North Dallas provider for BioTe Bio-Identical Hormonal Therapy and InTone by InControl Medical, a non-invasive, effective solution for female urinary incontinence. Female urinary incontinence is a daily frustration for more than 27 million women nationally, as women think leaking is a “normal” part of the life cycle. The reality is that leakage is NOT a normal part of aging, and should not be tolerated, especially when an effective, affordable solution exists.

Dr. Evan Walter is absolutely wonderful—knowledgeable, compassionate, and patient. He took the time to listen to all of my concerns and explained everything clearly without rushing. I felt truly heard and supported throughout my visit.

Although the front desk staff Isaura was pleasant to speak to and very friendly and the provider was thorough helpful friendly and very very informative. His medical assistants’ bed side manner was non existent. Her lack of empathy was surreal. The fact she asked me what my orientation was then after a few question told me oh so you’re orientation is Bi with a giggle. The fact she asked me to call my pcp to send them my records knowing damn well that’s HIPPA. And a written release is required. Ms Know it all was rude and needs to find a different profession. Because it’s hard to tell if this is a career she wants to Persue because being right and judgmental served her best. Unsure if her origin made her feel the need to change my orientation because of my past but I left very much upset.

Doctor Evans was wonderful. This was my first pregnancy, and he outlined everything for me before we even did an ultrasound - including the possibility of miscarriage and how common it can be. Unfortunately I had a missed miscarriage (MMC), but I feel like he really gave me the facts and walked me through my options. We ended up scheduling a D & C five days after my appointment, and although my husband and I were bummed about the situation and a little nervous for the surgery, everything went very smooth. All of the nurses and other doctors were a delight to work with as well. Dr Evan’s will be certainly be our OB to help us navigate the exciting life change of growing our family!
