Ward Care, LLC
My work is grounded in Family Systems and Attachment Theory and shaped by an understanding that our struggles rarely exist in isolation. The ways we think, feel, and relate to others are deeply influenced by the systems we grow up in—families, relationships, communities, and cultures. By exploring these patterns, therapy can help you understand not just what is happening in your life, but why—and how to change it.
I integrate a range of evidence-based approaches, including attachment theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-informed practices. These frameworks guide us in understanding how early experiences shape present-day challenges, how thoughts and behaviors reinforce emotional distress, and how we can begin to build new, healthier ways of connecting—with ourselves and with others.
My goal is to create a space that feels safe, nonjudgmental, and steady—a space where you can explore even the most painful experiences without fear of being misunderstood or dismissed. You don’t have to have everything figured out when you arrive. Therapy is the process of discovering, piece by piece, what’s been missing and what can be restored.
