The Washington Health Institute (WHI) was founded with the mission to improve the health of our community by providing exceptional Primary and Infectious Diseases Specialty care services. We approach the unique needs of each patient by providing holistic care support and patient education, while participating in innovative research that advances the quality of life for our patients.
Our primary care services focus on optimizing your long term health and wellbeing. Our talented primary care physicians partner with you as your healthcare advocate, working with you to ensure you receive appropriate screenings and access to more complex care based on your condition. We provide services to individuals 18 and older.
We provide testing and treatment for patients with suspected infectious diseases, including HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis-C, tuberculosis, osteomyelitis and fungal infections. We also offer Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) & Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) to prevent HIV infection.
We offer Red Carpet appointments for individuals who are newly diagnosed with HIV or re-engaging in HIV care.

Is it possible to become a fan of a doctor? If so, I am the president of Doc Hodge's fan club. He is a superstar provider. I have never had a physician listen so intently and ask questions about my health that I had never considered. Most significantly, he explained how my current medications might be impacting me in other ways in the long term. I left there feeling better about my treatment and overall health. He outstandingly offers exemplary care. What more could I ask for? Well done!

Dr. Hodge is one of the best doctors I have ever met with. He spent 45 minutes discussing my issues and took the time to help me understand and think of underlying causes. You can tell he sincerely cares about his patients and truly wants to help. I found him through Zocdoc based on his reviews and they are absolutely spot on. I cannot recommend Dr. Hodge enough.
