I would be coming back to this office I loved it
I liked this doctor a lot more when I used to come once a year for a check up. But recently I've been having other complications and this is when I realized that I seriously dislike this office. I've had to see the doctor almost weekly or biweekly and every time I was booked a morning appointment but when I would arrive, Dr. Yan is always running late and I end up waiting at least an hour. I don't understand why they overbook or book slots knowing that she will be late. I understand maybe she needs to be at the hospital delivering sometimes but if they know her schedule then they need to take that into consideration because it's disrespectful to the patient's time. Another thing that bothers me is that every time I come, they take payment before I even see the doctor. There was a time when I went for a biopsy but unfortunately my period came at that same moment so she told me to reschedule the procedure to two weeks later, but I was still charged for the visit. Another example would be when I had a uti and was told I would be called in a week for my test results. I didn't know that just being told the results were considered a telephone/video appointment, so I was charged for that "visit" as well. I had concerns about possible oab but that was quickly dismissed and attributed to anxiety. I'm sure she has good intentions but she needs to realize she can come off as condescending and outdated. I honestly don't even want to get started on the receptionists here. They're definitely not properly trained and nowhere near polite. But I can't blame them, more so whoever hired them.
I was able to be seen the same day and check in was quick, but the wait time was long because it was rather busy that day. I was seeing her for an annual pap smear and she was quick and efficient. Other than the long wait time, everything else was great and I recommend her for any one in the area looking for an OB/GYN.

Been coming here for over a year and Dr. Yan is very informative, caring and will make sure her office follows up with you. If there is something that her office does not offer, she will make sure to recommend someone who does and that they are just as efficient.
