Dr. Welish spent a considerable amount of time with me. He was concerned, thorough and explained everything in detail. I felt that I was in very capable hands. His nurse Doris was very kind and knowledgeable.
A few days prior I needed an emergency prescription and his physician assistant, Sarah, tracked down a pharmacy near where I was vacationing and within a half hour, the prescription was filled. I know this review is long but outstanding care deserves outstanding reviews. Thank You to Dr. Welish and his staff.

Great...as a PROACTIVE MEASURE I needed to contact a cardiologist to make sure there was no problem with my heart at age 72. The office called my regular doctor and had them fax information which I really appreciated. Dr. Welish also explained that the services of a gerontologist were not necessary for me.

Snow was coming on the day I came to visit. I was late for the appointment because I got lost. But the conversation with the doctor lasted less than six minutes because of this snow. I had been to the emergency room a few days prior and saw this doctor as was instructed when I was at the hospital. OMG, the appointment was very rushed! I did not like that AT ALL and was leery about the place. Then I was supposed to have a follow-up stress test and it was scheduled. When they never called to confirm it I called the night before. I found out that the hospital cancelled the appointment without telling me that there was an issue with the insurance. I am sure they told the doctor's office about it but did they call me. Noooooo! But that was their fault, I had given the doctor my current insurance information, so why the hospital had the old information made zero sense! I find it odd that they didn't call to ask me for the new information. Then I set up another visit on the phone at the doctor's office. Again, they never called back to confirm the new appointment as most offices do. I was very disappointed with the admin side of things, and the rushed visit with the doctor. I don't know what the deal was with this place. Never seen this happen before. And there were three ladies there as admins/nurses! Made no sense at all. I just never bothered calling them back to complain. I just went somewhere else.
