Dr. Manges received her DAOM (Doctor of Oriental Medicine) from Pacific College of Health and Science in New York City with integrative clinical experience at NYU’s Initiative for Women with Disabilities. A long overdue review! I saw Kirsten during the last few weeks of my pregnancy and after delivery for postpartum recovery. Kirsten is incredibly thoughtful and has the most calming energy. I think the only time I was able to get a few minutes of restorative sleep with a newborn was laying on her table! She truly listens and develops a holistic approach to each patient. I have been going to Kirsten for about 8 months now for an old knee problem I got playing soccer back in Ireland, I have played soccer at a high level for many years and I have had surgery to try and see if it will help and it didn't, the pain was back once I started running again so I had to do injections to help me get through a game. I have lived with this for years, I was talking to a friend one day about it and they recommend I try acupuncture so I said why not what do I have to lose. I asked around and someone recommended Kirsten at wellspring Health so I booked a session and it was the best decision I ever made, after about 5/6 sessions my knee was felling the best it was in years... I was back running after about 10 sessions, I am not training for the 2022 New York marathon! Kirsten Manages acupuncture treatments are given with great care. She has an amazing talent to zoom into problem areas and find the proper solutions. She has done wonders for my neck pain and my wrists for instance. The place has a zen quality and is beautifully arranged, as well as new and clean.
