I had a 1:45 appointment but when I arrived the receptionist said I didn’t have an appointment. I had a confirmation and notification about my arrival which I replied yes. I waited until after 3 to be seen. Doctors and nurses were fine but the receptionist didn’t seem to know the Zocdoc system.

Issue with ZocDoc, not with Wellstar. Appointment was booked and confirmed with ZocDoc for New Year's day; however, the office location I booked with was not opened. Fortunately, Wellstar ER was able to accommodate me

Me and my friends don’t usually sit around and discuss where’s a good place to get 14 pills of blood pressure meds. However if any of my friends are in the situation that I was I’d say go let them do a blood drawl and get them 14 pills of life.

Place was dark and unfriendly, they didn't accept my insurance even after I was told they did, service was quick but lacked any kind of emotion. straight cardboard doc-in-a-box operation. this is what all doctors will be like if things don't change for the better.

Overall, an excellent experience. I was seen immediately. Medical staff were attentive, caring, knowledgeable, good listeners, understood my concerns and needs at the visit and gave me the necessary information and meds to feel better. They quickly sent the order to the pharmacy, which I appreciated since I was t feeling well. All came with gentleness and a smile. The nurse was so friendly. The PA was absolutely wonderful. My only issue was that I made an appointment online through Zocdoc but it wouldn’t take my Medicare insurance. So I called and the office said they do, and they would fill it in when I arrived for my appointment. When I arrived, they said they had no record of me making an appointment. I thought I’d done something wrong like chosen a different location by accident, but they then said they’re having problems with zocdoc, that it takes so long to show an appointment, it appears people haven’t made one. I didn’t have any trouble being seen, but that needs to be fixed.

I really like this facility. The providers are really nice but I had an appointment at 9 and was told I would not be waiting for 2H and then turns out after 2H of sitting in the lobby with a sick kid who was shivering and freezing and not feeling well that the appointment I made on here wasn’t really an appointment. I wish the communication on timing was better because fine if this didn’t count as an appointment than communicate that with me so I could take my kid home to rest for an hour and come back rather than making him sit in a freezing cold lobby! I also missed 3H of work when I could’ve been working while waiting if I had a realistic expectation of time. By the time I was told I was next, there was an hour gap between that and me actually getting in. The communication was very poorly handled. I wish I’d have been told what I made on zocdoc wasn’t an appointment and been given a realistic expectation of time or a later appointment. Disappointed for my kid.

At 12:00 on a Wednesday the crowd might be expected to be rather large. But probably due to proper scheduling and preregistration, there was no back log. There was a wait both in the lobby and in the exam room but not unreasonable.

My experience with the staff was excellent, however they had no notification of my appointment, which I had scheduled about 2-3 hours before my appointment. When I arrived the receptionist was unaware of my appointment and mentioned that this was a recurring issue with zocdoc. I the future I will schedule directly on their own website. I was very impressed with the care I received from each person who attended to me.
