Wellness Home of Chicago at Northstar is the flagship location and business office for Wellness Homes of Chicago Wellness (WHoC) & Health Services. WHoC develops and manages community-based programs that break through barriers to providing wellness & health services to ALL Chicagoans and has multiple locations throughout Chicago.
Wellness Homes of Chicago Healthcare offers integrative primary healthcare services, therapeutic counseling, IV Infusion therapies,
HIV/AIDS/STI programs, full lab testing/assessment, and anti-aging solutions such as MedSpa and TRT. We also have a COVID-19 testing and vaccination program on-site. Additionally, we now offer Allergy Services such as Allergy Testing and Allergy Immunotherapy with each provider at our locations.
Our Wellness Homes GetFit Weight Loss & Management program also offers an exciting new partnership. This new initiative pairs the immense impact of the FDA-approved weight loss medication, GLP-1, with wrap-around supportive services that will change a patient's relationship with food forever. I don’t like doctors. I was scared and very nervous. Everyone was so nice and comforting to me. From the Front Desk Staff, Nurses, Nurse Attendants, Student Residents and the Doctor was all amazing. I’m so glad I listened to my friends. Northstar is the best.

This experience was incredibly frustrating. I arrived for my appointment, but I didn't see my doctor that I booked with. Then, when I told them about what I was being seen for, the other practitioners were confused about what I was talking about.
I was never seen for the reason that I booked. It was incredibly frustrating to just be passed off to someone else. Even if the staff was nice, I was still very disoriented. I will not be returning.

I did a lot of research and was so happy to find Brownlee but the last two times I scheduled an appointment with him, he pawned me off to another team member. I specifically wanted a doctor who looked like me who also has knowledge of joint pain and how to holistically treat it. I made an appointment recently and he didn't see me despite saying I wanted to have a conversation about the my auto-immune disorder we found at my last physical. I had to call for my own lab work... despite needing a follow-up as reflected in the report. I am really disappointed because the office has a great vibe and friendly workers. If you don't want to see a patient then please don't accept the appointment. Healthcare is not cheap and especially not if you have a condition. I will not be returning to this office because I want a physician who cares about helping me, not just my money. They had no problem calling 39084 times before the appointment to make sure I submitted my insurance.
