Unfortunately the office was in a rundown building and that did not feel professional or comfortable.
It was great. Doctor Roman is very detail oriented and asked me lots of questions.
Dr Roman is very knowledgeable and took the time to address all my concerns.

Dr. Roman is an amazing physician. He's kind, attentive and very humble. He showed a real interest in me as an individual and not just as a patient. All in all, my first experience with a psychiatrist was an extremely pleasant one and I look forward to working with him in the future. Coming from a medical student, I highly recommend Dr. Roman to anyone that is looking for a warm, knowledgeable medical professional.
He was really nice and professional - he was punctual with the appointment time and I continued seeing him for several months after.
Dr. Roman is the best psychiatrist I've ever seen and I've seen probably 5 or 6 in NYC. He takes the time to fully understand what you're dealing with and treats it according to what he hears. Every time I see him, he does a full hour-long therapy session to get to the root of the issue. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a knowledgeable and caring psych, it can be very difficult to find.
Excellent psychiatrist - highly recommended! Dr. Roman made it clear that he is invested in my health as a new patient by asking thorough intake questions, creating a clear follow-up/monitoring plan, and being transparent about how he reached his recommendations. He's also very ethical, selecting the least dangerous and non-addictive treatment options. Given his specialty, expect lots of questions for the intake, and bluntness if your past providers or your own health choices were not following best practices for treatment.

The inquisitorial nature of his background questions are borderline hostile. Seems competent enough, didn't do anything wrong. But, not the person I would voluntarily choose to treat me on a consistent basis.
