I was very disappointed in this experience. I am a physician myself though not a gynecologist. Dr. Fleming practices according to the standard of care, but the standard of care when it comes to women's hormonal health offers very little to older women because almost nothing has been invested in new research about women's hormonal health. It is my understanding that there are gynecologists who believe that the fears about the potential for blood clots and cancer related to hormone treatment for women in their 60's are grossly exaggerated and unfounded by research and thus women are not offered hormones that would be very protective of the genitourinary tract and which could potentially be helpful for osteoporosis. Dr. Fleming was unaware of this body of work and simply repeated the conventional "wisdom". I left the appointment with nothing more than recommendations to be mindful of my calcium intake and to do strength training, It was extremely unhelpful, frustrating and ridiculous.

From the minute I was greeted at the desk by shy it was a five star experience. I stated with them that I did not feel confident in the prior doctor visits from other clinics . The staff made me feel like I was at the right place, finally. I was heard seen and felt like I could finally get answers to how I have been feeling. I could not recommend this place more. Great listener and better informed about hormone replacement therapy than the multiple MDs who did not want to see me, did not want to refer me to anyone, or flat out denied any relationship between my painful vascular symptoms in my hands and foot. After a few months on therapy, my life has changed for the better.

Book an appointment early in the morning so it won't interfere with my work. Wait for a few mins for the door open. Nice staff and environment. Get a referal for a breast ultrasound at Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

I had put off having a pap for years because of a bad experience at a different office.
She was very understanding of my fears and was able to help calm me down, she had a nurse with her to hold my hand and make sure I was actually okay. I'm very thankful I found this office as I finally felt understood and heard. I'm no longer afraid of the gyno! As long as I keep coming here :)

Dr. Clark was excellent! I had a great visit experience. It has been awhile since my last gyno exam, but she put me at ease. She explained *everything* before doing anything. She also listened to all my questions and addressed all my concerns. I left feeling heard, educated, and comforted. I couldn’t ask for more!

This is a great doctor, everything went great, even with the fact that I was very nervous, since it was my first time. But the doctor went through all of the things I wanted to discuss and recommended other procedures that can be done after to make sure that everything is good. She is very polite and gentle.
