I was very disappointed in this experience. I am a physician myself though not a gynecologist. Dr. Fleming practices according to the standard of care, but the standard of care when it comes to women's hormonal health offers very little to older women because almost nothing has been invested in new research about women's hormonal health. It is my understanding that there are gynecologists who believe that the fears about the potential for blood clots and cancer related to hormone treatment for women in their 60's are grossly exaggerated and unfounded by research and thus women are not offered hormones that would be very protective of the genitourinary tract and which could potentially be helpful for osteoporosis. Dr. Fleming was unaware of this body of work and simply repeated the conventional "wisdom". I left the appointment with nothing more than recommendations to be mindful of my calcium intake and to do strength training, It was extremely unhelpful, frustrating and ridiculous.

Dr. Fleming and her staff were very professional and knowledgeable, as well as kind and welcoming. I felt safe, comfortable, and respected during my appointment. She talked through every step and made sure I was an active participant in the conversation. Dr. Fleming is a doctor I feel I can trust and who listens without judgement while maintaining awareness of her patients comfort, boundaries, and needs. The office is calming and quiet, offering ample privacy. Definitely recommend!

I was so pleased with this experience. Everyone was kind and professional , but not stuffy! Very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I finally feel like my medical complaints were heard and understood. I feel like there is a light at the end of my sleepless, hormonal tunnel!
