I have been dreading getting started at a dentist since moving to Long Island from Brooklyn and Queens I have yet found a dentist I’m comfortable with with.
But now I have found him!
It’s refreshing to be able to stay with one dentist who does most of the treatment and oral surgeries.

Dr. Frank Peritore is a phenomenal dentist. He is professional, courteous, knowledgeable, an expert in his skills, and non judgmental to boot. And his staff are equally as phenomenal, which goes to say, not surprising. He and his team made me feel comfortable and cared for. I am so thankful I chose his practice for my dental needs. I walked out after my first visit a healthier and happier person. The definition of a successful winning team is in Dr. Petriore, Katherine, Wanda and Shawna and his other staff at Woodpoint Dental in Plainview and Brooklyn; and that benefits Us, his patients. Great staff! They start with a tour of the office and equipment which seems unusual for most dental offices but a good way to acclimate new patients to the environment. I felt very comfortable. The hygienist and dentist were the most knowledgeable dental professionals I’ve spoken to maybe ever and explained things in a very digestible manner. The hygienist, Paula was fast, thorough and numbed me to perfection! A1 cleaning with old school technique.

My dental cleaning experience can not be better than here :)
I clearly have some sensitive spots like everyone else probably, the hygienist was very professional and tried her best for me to not feel too much of a pain during the dental cleaning.
Staffs were friendly, clearly communicated with me in regards to the insurance / bills .

Excellent dentist. Dr. Frank Peritore's office staff was friendly and welcoming. Everything in the office is well run and highly organized. Everything ran smoothly and I was seen right away. The patient care is great.

Dr. Peritore and everyone on staff in the office was excellent. For the work itself: Dr. Peritore had a gentle hand, worked with precision, and had a dental emergency cleared up in no time. For the atmosphere: The front desk staff was kind and communicated frankly about my expected costs after insurance and booked me for my next appointment immediately. The technician introduced herself, stated their pronouns, and then also asked me for my pronouns. An excellent experience - I'll be going back for the foreseeable future so long as Dr. Peritore remains in-network for my coverage.

I was told prior to my cleaning and X-rays that I would be covered through insurance. They did not tell me I was out of network until after my appointment and charged me for services. I don’t recommend them to anyone as they seem very scammy and have extremely high rates or basic services.

I'm pretty much Dentist-phobic. I had some really painful experience as a kid, that has made it more likely I go get a new tattoo - than to get my teeth cleaned again. Alas, tooth pain is a great motivator, so that took me to Dr. Petiore whom I chose because, based on his website, he seemed to understand how to make patients feel relaxed. Without going into too much detail, I'll just say that they are so good at making you feel relaxed, listening to your fears and not overwhelming you... and that in the few visits that I needed for different procedures, I would be back to good dental health. I was completely at ease and without anxiety. Dr.P is very friendly and his assistants are great too! I like that he always explains what he is going to do or is doing.

They were busy but the Dr saw me right away.I didnt have to file any insurance paperwork they completed it all and with a smile. He did give me this new oral cancer screening and when he did it I was nervous.It seemed like this futuristic light ... scheduled for next week... great place!
