"I can say without exaggeration that Dr. Veras changed my life. I’m 44 and had seen literally dozens of psychiatrists since I was 16. I’d been misdiagnosed with everything—bipolar, personality disorder, “too sensitive”—and I just felt like a failure. In 2021, I met Dr. Veras. She was the first doctor who truly listened and took time to understand me. For the first time, I felt seen and without judgment. I was pregnant, hyperactive, and in an abusive relationship with zero support. Dr. Veras was a beacon of light in that darkness.
