My name is Lisa El-Alam, I am a Licensed Master Social Worker - Clinical. I have worked with various populations, however, mostly with Veterans. I have advanced Trauma Training and am CCTP-II certified. I have experience working with Trauma survivors on all levels, to include, Combat Traumas, other Military Trauma, Sexual Trauma's, Childhood Trauma, domestic abuse. I also have worked with individuals struggling with Anxiety, Depression, grief & loss, along with Couples and relationship stress. I use a warm and positive holistic approach to therapy. I am able to work with individuals at wherever your story begins and support you in your healing process from there. I am certified in interventions such as EMDR and Hypnotherapy. I am also trained in the Gottman Method to guide couples into healthier relationships. Clients typically express feeling lighter after sessions. Our client therapist relationship is important and we will build that trust together at your pace. Clients express feeling at ease expressing, thoughts, feelings & emotions. I see emotional growth in clients who complete treatment, and I am grateful to be apart of that healing journey with you.
