Dr Fradkin works with a wonderful team of therapists and psychologists. Ostell clinic where he consults his patients has the capability to provide the most innovative and evidence-based strategies for helping families with anxiety, stress and depression. Neurofeedback and supportive therapy are helping patients get back to normal life sooner and often without medications. Parents with troubled children and adolescents find here a supportive staff, knowledgeable and empathic doctors and therapist who are leading them through process of recovery and improvement.

Dr. Y. Fradkin was very receptive and easy to talk to. He was great with my teenage son who was hesitant to talk. He got the information needed patiently and talked kindly to my son. Mostly, he was understanding and we are able to get my son the help he needs. Without the doctor's intuitive demeanor we would have not made the progress in the first session. I look forward to working with Doctor Fradkin in the future. I highly recommend.

I never med with Dr Y cause I was called prior to appt to be informed that he did not accept medicare but that his PA did. I never met the DR. face to face, but had a good session with his PA. He listened well and I did not feel rushed. In the last 15 minutes of my appt DR Y called in, the PA made an introduction to this doctor of me, He did not say hi, smile or even acknowledge that i was in the room and did not say word to me but apparently was interested in the PA's impression of my mood prior to and after this session and who I should be referred to. Then the call ended.
The session resumed and I was advised to email the director to ask for an important and find out the charges going forward, ( I did so immediately),I was told to get back to the PA in 48hrs if I did not hear from this director. Well today was 7 days since that email was sent and no response has been received from this director or from the PA who did ask me to call in 48 hrs if I did not hear. No follow up call.

The doctor and the office assistant ignored all my messages and requests regards prescribed treatment. You are clearly shown that you are not an interest until you set up a new visit. No signs that someone cares about the success of the treatment or taking care of the patient's condition. Not the kind of attitude I expected from a specialist. Badly surprised and disappointed.

Dr. Fradkin was lovely - kind and gentle with a sense of humor. We saw him to help our 12 year-old, who's been having a hard time, difficult moods and ADHD. Dr. Fradkin made all three of us feel heard and understood. We are going to try a low dose of an SSRI, and Dr. Fradkin made sure everyone was comfortable with this decision. We feel we are in excellent hands.

The doctor (and his staff) are so helpful and nice. He really took time to listen to my daughter and our concerns. And, he goes out of his way to make her comfortable during the visit. He is attentive and quick to respond if you have an issue.

I brought my 15 year old son to Dr Fradkin for issues with depression, anxiety, ADD. My son who likes few people was comfortable with Dr Fradkin and gave him a thumbs up. High praise indeed! We just had our initial consultation but so far very pleased!

Easy location with parking - we went to the Montclair location but there are 2 other locations. Dr. was knowledgeable and explained things in detail when we had questions. I believe handles adults as well as children which is a rare thing these days.
