My husband and I just started with Zachary for our joint counseling and so far I have to say we are impressed b/c we are comfortable with him and he has a great "bedside manner" for lack of a better term. I was a little skeptical at first b/c his approach is different than what I had worked with before BUT we were pleasantly surprised and looking forward to working with him.

If you read over the reviews for Zach, you'll probably get a pretty quick picture of what a truly special therapist he is. So if you've made it this far, consider yourself lucky! You're already about 1000X more likely to not just have a positive therapy experience if you work with Zach, but an effective therapy experience too.
And that's what I'd like to highlight about working with Zach. My husband and I have seen him for couples therapy for well over a year now, and we have truly benefited so much from Zach's insights and encouragement not just as a couple, but as individuals as well. Zach is also patient and positive, which is a. rare combination of traits for one therapist to have.
Also, my husband and I felt pretty comfortable letting Zach know if one of his
suggestions or insights didn't seem accurate or work for us, during the session, but also reporting back on how homework went. Where Zach blows my mind is his flexibility and nimbleness. He seems to have a wealth of ideas, drawing from countless schools of thought, disciplines, and philosophy. He also shares incredibly relevant information, which for us, has ranged from areas such as the relationship between health and stress or trauma, parenting, and sex.
If there were a therapist rap battle, Zach would be mike dropping from the moment he walked on stage. When I take inventory of my own personal growth since starting with Zach, I feel tremendous gratitude that we found him.

Zach’s a really bright and caring guy. He’s calculated, professional, and genuinely cares about his patients. Like all therapists, it took me a few sessions to really warm up to him, but once I did, the sessions became a lot more productive. Would definitely recommend.

Honestly the best therapist I have ever worked with. As a veteran, I’ve been to multiple and he is absolutely outstanding. Progressive, open minded, and an absolutely wonderful person to talk to… Five stars all the way.

I went to therapy with Zach for about 1.5 to 2 years. Zach was super warm from the very beginning. He is an intent listener, provides thoughtful feedback, and is approachable. I always looked forward to my therapy sessions with Zach and would totally recommend him to anybody who is looking for a smart, thoughtful, and caring therapist!

I grew up a very angry queens native… I went to a screwed up Catholic school and got kicked out by 15, and then I wound up joining the army by 19. I got married to a really toxic woman by 25 and had some drug issues and we got divorced pretty much two years later and I wound up also becoming a victim of domestic abuse because she came at me with a knife in San Diego. A lot of messed up years, but then I met Zach.
I went through five different therapist before I met Zach. I can be a really intense individual, and Zach was absolutely wonderful and totally was able to read my body language and call me down… There were a few sessions where I was literally ready to explode well having work issues and also trying to get my wife to sign the divorce papers as her father meddled in everything.
Honestly, the man saved my life. I’m in a brand new relationship and I’m out of my toxic work environment and I finally got over the divorce and I honestly feel like a completely different person. I will always look back fondly at our sessions and, not to sound like an idiot, but the man did seriously save my life.
Anyone who is close to me knows about the two years of sessions that I spent with Zach.
I would not be the man I am today without his help. He never beat around the bushes, and he also never let me victimized myself… Which is what made him such a great therapist. The whole point of therapy is to look inward, and although I sometimes did not like what I saw, like I said… it changed my life.

I did some research before choosing to meet with Zach and it was well worth it. I've been through many different therapists and counselors for a variety of situations and now they all get compared against Zach as a standard of care, respect, calm, and wisdom. I always walked away from sessions with him feeling better, even if I wasn't the one doing the majority of the talking. I highly recommend him to everyone.
