Zen & Go Acupuncture and Healing Center
Acupuncture is a component of Traditional Chinese Medicine in which hair thin, sterile needles are strategically inserted into points around the body. Acupuncture is used to rebalance the flow of energy or “qi” in the body to alleviate pain and help restore balance. At our office we use acupuncture to effectively treat a variety of ailments including back pain , knee pain, neck and shoulder pain, autoimmune pain, fertility and female reproductive conditions, urinary conditions, digestive disturbances, psycho emotional issues and more. ___________________________________________________________________ Cupping therapy has seen a resurgence in recent years. Cupping is an ancient, yet effective technique in which vacuum suction is applied to areas typically on the back to draw out toxins, improve circulation, improve oxygenation, improve bronchial and asthmatic conditions and reduce pain. The procedure is relatively pain free and the results are lasting. ________________________________________________________________________
Gua Sha & Tui Na are two massage techniques which apply principles of Chinese Medicine Meridian Therapy to traditional massage. Gua Sha involves a painless scraping technique which incorporates massage oil to break up scar tissues and improve bloodflow. Tui Na is a push/pull technique of massage in which layers of the fascia are opened along the meridians or channels. _______________________________________________________________
Moxabustion is a co-therapy to acupuncture in which mugwort leaves are safely burnt near the skin to help improve circulation, joint movement, kidney function, induce labor, and help remove excess fluids from the body. Along with acupuncture, moxabustion will effectively rebalance disharmonies. _____________________________________________________________________
Acupuncture appointments are 45 minutes each.
The first Acupuncture appointment is up to 90 minutes.

We have very affordable acupuncture treatment plans, so you do not need to have health insurance coverage for acupuncture, especially if you can pay using your HSA or FSA.
