Hello! I am a dual board-certified child/adolescent & adult psychiatrist. I provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, recommendations, and treatment plans including medication management and therapy.
My approach is informed by compassion, non-judgment, and a commitment to help patients build insight, while also alleviating symptoms as efficiently as possible. I combine medication management, psychodynamic therapy, genomic testing and TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation - specifically for treatment resistant depression, anxiety and OCD).
I am particularly experienced in treatment of ADHD, treatment resistant depression, helping 'difficult patients', Bipolar Disorder and Long-COVID fatigue.

Dr. Zingher was polite and very easy to talk to. I have talked to a therapist before, but never an actual Psychiatrist and was pleasantly surprised how nice it was. Dr. Zingher is experienced, knowledgeable and generous with his tme.
Although we met virtually at the end of the day, he was fully present and patient as I relayed my adolescent son's history and current condition. (He was also able to engage my son in a conversation.) Dr. Zingher asked good questions and, when possible, answered mine and shared his insights. The next day, he provided a helpful written evaluation.
I highly recommend Dr. Zingher.

The secretary, Nikki, is so patient, caring, and kind. She helped me every step of the way, took her time answering all my questions, and made me feel like a person instead of a number. Great customer service and professionalism!
Dr. Zingher amazed me with his wealth of clinic knowledge, yet did a fantastic job communicating to me in layman's terms so I could easily understand and relate. He spoke to me genuinely and made me feel safe and comfortable. Each of my concerns were heard and addressed individually. He took his time and spent a full 60 minutes with me on my initial visit, which is very rare in this industry.
If you're looking for a truly GREAT doctor who you can trust with your medication management and mental health needs, I highly recommend this practice. Customer service/ patient care is their number one priority, and it shows!

Dr. Zingher was a great listener. I appreciate that he wanted to listen to my thoughts and concerns as the parent alone and then listen to my teenager’s concerns and struggles alone. He was not dismissive. When recommending treatment he took into consideration her history and needs instead of retrying the things that did not work.

I've had some really bad luck with mental health "professionals" -- who's to say if that's more to do with me or them. I'm especially touchy about dealing with male mental health professionals, I tend to find them less understanding. That's why working with Dr. Zingher was such an incredibly pleasant surprise. He really took the time to listen and *hear* me, and to understand not only the immediate issues I was dealing with, but also with the nuanced context surrounding the issues. In my experience, this level of attentiveness is unusual for psychiatrists. After a string of bad experiences I was about ready to give up. I feel very fortunate to have run across Dr. Zingher.
