“My husband and I absolutely love working with Kyra. She helped us navigate our way through a wedding planning process, full of family drama, in a way that made our relationship stronger than either of us could‚Äôve imagined. We decided to continue working with her throughout our first year of marriage, and it was one of the best decisions we made. She brings a level of warmth, authenticity, and ‚Äútough love‚Äù that prove she was born to do this type of work. We couldn‚Äôt recommend her more!”

Getting to know Kyra McFadden

I'm so glad you're here. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I work with clients across the lifespan and am passionate about creating an emotionally safe, spiritually affirming, and trauma-informed space. My goal is to help clients become more aware of the patterns that have shaped them, discover new possibilities for healing, and grow into a life that feels more grounded, connected, and authentic. As someone who values transparency, reflection, and resilience, I am honored to walk with people through the real and sometimes messy work of healing. My approach My work is rooted in psychodynamic theory, trauma-focused care, and relational therapy. This means that I focus not just on symptom relief but on understanding the deeper patterns and emotional experiences that influence how you show up in the world. We will work together to understand how early relationships, past wounds, and even generational stories affect your present experience. I also integrate spiritual principles into the work when desired, especially from a Christ-centered lens, because I believe healing includes the soul, not just the symptoms. My approach is warm but direct, and I invite honest reflection while helping you build self-awareness and sustainable coping tools. My focus I work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and unresolved trauma. I see children, teens, adults, and older adults, and tailor my sessions to match where you are developmentally and emotionally. Whether you're navigating grief, battling imposter syndrome, struggling in a relationship, or managing burnout, I meet you where you are. Because I’ve worked across many levels of care, I understand that people don’t always come to therapy at their strongest—and that’s okay. You don’t need to have it all together to begin.
