Morgan (she/her) graduated from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine with a master’s degree in Chinese Medicine, having previously completed massage training at East West College of Healing Arts in 2011. The past twelve years, she has spent her time honing her skills as a practitioner and expanding her knowledge of the body.
Morgan is passionate about unraveling the ways in which the body internalizes and reacts to life events and is dedicated to finding the best route for relief based on each person’s unique needs. Morgan seeks to affirm all identities, helping guide individuals towards their own sense of wholeness. Creating a safe space that allows people to be at ease in their bodies is important to her practice.
Morgan has developed a strong connection with her hands and to their ability to access sources of pain, injury, or disharmony. She is able to precisely locate acupuncture points at various depths for gentle and effective relief. She is aware of the levels of sensation and her needling style is tailored to each patient’s condition and constitution. Morgan has experience in treating women’s health, chronic and acute musculoskeletal injuries and pain, digestive issues, mental emotional conditions, stress management, and insomnia. Morgan incorporates her knowledge of Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, and guasha into her treatments. She has a special focus in 5 element acupuncture and Japanese acupuncture. She has training in Kiiko Matsumoto style acupuncture as well as studied with teachers of Master Nagano and Shimamura’s style acupuncture. Morgan has an extensive background in body work includes shiatsu, myofascial release, visceral massage, reiki, and craniosacral. Combining her experience as a bodyworker with her training as a Chinese medicine practitioner deepens her practice. Her undergraduate degree in Women’s and Gender studies, Japanese, and fine art from the University of Oregon is an important part of her foundation.
