Morgan Hardesty, MS, OTR/L, completed her graduate degree at Shenandoah University in 2022. Since her completion of undergrad, Morgan knew she wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. After working as a rehab technician in an outpatient clinic, it was easy for her to make the choice to pursue occupational therapy, specifically with the pediatric population. “I love working with children because you can learn so much from them. They constantly remind you of so many different life lessons, like enjoying the simple things and to have fun and be different!” Since, Morgan has had clinical rotations in a wide variety of settings including outpatient, acute care, school system, and hippotherapy. she is experienced in a variety of ages and abilities. Morgan has experience with fine motor, sensory integration, oral motor control, feeding, executive functioning/organization, and reflex integration. In the future, Morgan would like to pursue a specialty in oral motor and feeding, but enjoys all aspects of treating the pediatric population!
