The entire experience was excellent. Scheduling an appointment was easy and I got an appointment in a timely manner. Everyone in the office is lovely - from the front desk staff, to the hygienist to Dr. Manolescu. The office itself is very clean, calm and serene. I was made to feel very comfortable, welcome and listened to, and they all treated me with respect and compassion. I could not be happier to have found my perfect Dentist for the next two years we're here.

More about Dr. Adina Manolescu, DDS
Dr. Manolescu was born in the city of Bucharest, Romania. At the age of ten, she and her parents arrived in the U.S. and have made Southern California their home ever since.
Dr. Manolescu attended the University of California, San Diego where she graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Biology. During her four years of undergraduate studies, Dr. Manolescu was actively conducting research for the Scripps Research Institute and GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals in the field of neuropharmacology and bioinformatics.
Dr. Manolescu was inspired to become a dentist on a trip back to Romania where she volunteered to assist her aunt (who is a dentist) in providing dental care to people living in remote villages and towns. The rewarding experience of alleviating pain, improving another person’s quality of life and self-image, motivated Dr. Manolescu to choose a career in dentistry.
In June 2005, Dr. Manolescu graduated from the University of Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Shortly thereafter, she returned to Los Angeles to practice dentistry, where she worked in a private dental office for 6 years. Dr. Manolescu made the move to San Diego in 2011 to be with her fiancé and is looking forward to settling down and starting a family.
Dr. Manolescu strongly believes in furthering her dental knowledge and has earned more than 500 hours of continuing education credits in a broad field of dental topics. As a result of her pursuit for dental education she has been awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. She is also a proud member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the San Diego County Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity.

Dr. Manolescu was extremely thorough with my visit. I had not been to the dentist in about 3 years, so she took extra time looking through every x-ray to ensure I had proper health.
She walked me through what she was looking for and suggestions for care. She also did not try to "sell" me any additional treatments. After hearing a horror story from a co-worker about another dentist, I was a bit apprehensive. Needless to say, Dr. Manolescu was extremely prompt, had exceptional bedside manner and good care.
I would highly recommend Dr. Manolescu!
