He earned a B.A. in Biology from Ball State University in 1994 and earned his D.D.S. from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1998. In 1999, he completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Florida. Dr. Patel has achieved the prestigious Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Hinman Dental Society and the Northern District Dental Society. He was also voted one of the "Top Dentists in Atlanta" in the 2010 edition of Atlanta Magazine.
Born in nearby Athens, Dr. Patel currently resides in Tucker with his wife Rina and sons Akash and Shailen. He enjoys sports, traveling, and photography.
