Pleasant environment, friendly staff. Staff said my previously-entered ZocDoc information "did not come through". I had to complete information forms again at the appointment.
First time patient. Upon arriving, I was seen in under 5 minutes. Staff was friendly and engaging. For my cleaning, Dr. Faber conducted the entire procedure and was engaging, pragmatic, and answered all questions. Finding a trustworthy dentist in NY has been a struggle, but I'm very happy I found Dr. Faber.

The only dentist in NYC I look forward to keeping the appointment having enjoyed restful sleep the night before!
Verified patient
Unclean, didn't provide a good diagnosis - told me I needed my wisdom teeth removed... I only have 1!
I've been seeing Dr. Faber for over 20 years and can say that he has always done an excellent job.
The BEST Dentist, in all of NYC!!!!!!! Professional, friendly and GREAT pain free work.
Verified patient
He is straightforward, knowledgeable and gives the patient options on treatment plans.
Verified patient
Very nice Doctor and the appointment went fast. Would certainly see him again!
Verified patient
Doctor and staff are professional and courteous.Would recommend to everyone.
Verified patient
Gave good honest advice - very thoughtful and also thorough in the cleaning.
I felt very comfortable with Dr. Faber, very good sense of humor !
Verified patient
He did absolutely nothing for me but irritate my tooth even more
I have known him for almost 20 years!! I am a faithful patient!
Verified patient
Very gentle manner and thorough explanation of the procedures.
In and out, straight to business. Quick and painless.
Went in for what I though was a consultation and routine cleaning and left with most of my molars gone ! Was not a happy camper I never went back for the follow up procedure .
Verified patient
The wait time was quick but the treatment was not at all what I expected based on reading the reviews. He barely looked at my teeth and would not explain a spot that showed in the X-Ray. Told me it was a filling when I said I never had a filling before he insisted I did. No other possible explanations were given to me.

Pleasant environment, friendly staff. Staff said my previously-entered ZocDoc information "did not come through". I had to complete information forms again at the appointment.
The office was a little tricky to find, but once inside, the wait was very short. However, I do wish that Dr. Faber was more engaging during my cleaning. It seems somewhat transactional.
The front desk is horrible and unresponsive to concerns or complaints- phone calls and emails go completely unanswered. The absolute worst customer service possible. Dr. Faber recommended his son, Marc, for invisalign. After a 4 month wait tor receive the first tray and multiple unsuccessfull appointments to place attachments I gave up and changed to another dentist. What a waste of time and money. DO NOT GO HERE!!
Dr. Faber was a fine fellow, and I appreciate his sense of humor, too. But, although his office claimed to participate in my insurance plan (Healthplex), they tried to get me to pay out of pocket for things that were included in the plan. I since changed to a different dental office and had everything taken care of with just my copay, instead of the substantial amount I'd have had to pay here.
I usually don't write reviews, but I feel a sense of obligation to inform people about this office. I should start off by saying that Dr. Faber barely took the time to look at my teeth. This visit was mostly handled by his hygienist. The hygienist was very rough and left cuts all over my gums. I was told that I had two cavities and needed scaling done. I am 26 years old and have only had two cavities in my life time, so I decided to get a second opinion from another dentist in the area. Thank God. Not only did I have NO CAVITIES, but I was told that I had very healthy gums. The dentist and his staff couldn't believe that they were going to try scaling my gums. DO NOT TRUST THIS OFFICE.

Dr Faber was very thorough and explained the problem and treatment options with care and professionalism. I liked his communicating style being clear and to the point.

Straight to the point. No B.S.
Dr. Faber was kind and direct. He worked quickly with no fuss. The cleaning seemed a tad rushed, but I didn't have any major issues, so I guess it was okay.

Finding a trustworthy dentist in NY has been a struggle, but I'm very happy I found Dr. Faber.
great doctor! agree with previousc comments, no BS, quickly and painless, no offerings of additional procedures like many other dentists do.
ROUGH
Verified patient
Dr. Faber seemed tentative and uncertain in his examinations, which didn't instill a lot of confidence in his abilities. He and his staff are friendly and professional, but I've found a better dentist.
My visit went very well. Dr Faber did everything necessary to find the cause of my pain. Unfortuantely, it was a matter of me biting down the wrong way, so there was nothing he could do. But I do appreciate him seeing me and letting me know that it was nothing serious. I will be contacting him in a few days to schedule a regular appt for myself and my daughter.
Haven't been to a dentist in a while so I was kind of nervous. The staff was super friendly and the location was easy to get to. It was a cute and quaint little office. I had to wait a little bit, but that was totally fine with me. It certainly wasn't longer than 20 minutes. I went in for a cleaning & Dr. Faber was super friendly. He has a funny sense of humor, and tries to talk to you. The cleaning overall went great, and I am very happy with him as my new dentist.
Dr. Faber is fantastic. The office is clean, small and not crowded. The reception staff are friendly. I had a filling and cleaning done and was in and out in an hour. Awesome. Thanx Dr. Faber!

Went to see Dr. Faber for a quick check-up and cleaning - everything went smoothly and painlessly. Dr. Faber is refreshingly no-nonsense and easy. Staff is also very friendly. Looking forward to my next check-up.
Overall, comparing with other dentist I visited so far, this was the worst. I visited him for consultation. Most importantly, I didn't like his attitute against patients. I will absolutely choose another dentist for my treatment.
Dr. Faber's exam and cleaning was quick and thorough. He gave great advice to achieve better oral hygiene. Dr. Faber is a true professional.
After an examination and x-ray, Dr Faber discussed that I might need a cap when his secretary rushed in the room, tapped on Dr Faber's shoulder. Suddenly he did not take my insurance anymore.
I had an appointment early in the day. After filling out a few forms, I was able to see the doctor immediately and was done with my dental cleaning in about 20 minutes. It was quick, the doctor is very pleasant and I would definitely recommend him to a friend.
I visited Dr. Albert for consultation and exam. He was cranky and I didn't feel comfortable during exam. I would recommend you to spend time on other dentists. Also, I noticed that his teeth looks unhealthier than mine.
Professional and courteous

Dr. Faber and his staff were professional, courteous, compassionate and efficient. The doctor was well-versed in his craft. He was able to offer several options, and he explained each one fully. There wasn't any pressure to choose a specific option. The choice was mine.
Verified patient
Dr. Faber and his staff were fantastic! I came in with a toothache, and they took care of it right away, and made sure that I understood everything, from the procedure to my insurance policy. They were warm and friendly, and worked very well and quickly. Looks like I've found my New York dentist! :)

I thought Dr. Faber was very down-to-earth and direct. I went in for a second opinion, and he gave me clear cut options, dispelled some urgent concerns I had, and treated the problem right away and with minimal discomfort. I am glad to have seen him, and plan to return. His staff was also kind and helpful.
Faber is no nonsense. I appreciate that quality in a doctor because he told me EXACTLY what the problem was. Although my insurance did not cover this offices' visit, it turned out that I had absolutely nothing wrong with my teeth except for TMJ (he advised a non evasive procedure in which I will follow up). My other dentist wanted to do a few root canals and teeth extractions... unbelievable. Faber is literally saint that saved me thousands of dollars worth of unnecessary and painful procedures. The only thing I have to do is floss, floss, and floss! Thank you very much.
Very professional, great dentist.

The office is very small but is in the great location (57st/6ave). Dr. Faber is very nice. The office manager and assistant are nice too! It was a pleasant cleaning visit.
Verified patient
Zocdoc for me was a great way to find Dr. Faber. He was very kind, friendly, and informative Fortunately, I do not have much work to be done. We have found a new home for dental work. My daughter will be next to see him.
Verified patient
As soon as I sat down in the waiting room, one of Dr. Faber's assistants got me in the chair. Dr. Faber completed a thorough exam with X-rays in a short amount of time. Dr. Faber explained me what he found and what my options are. He did not force me to get a specific procedure but rather helped me make the decision. I have been to other dentists who try to only do the most expensive procedures. Dr. Faber is not one of them. I would highly recommend Dr. Faber because he does the right thing
There was not waiting time at all. the staff were very pleasant. the Doctor was very gentel and very friendly. I would highly recommend Dr. Faber.
Verified patient
Excellent Dentist. Very personable and definitely knows what he is doing. The wait was minimal. He is very knowledgeable and professional.
