Dr Carrara is very good with all of her patients. She is respectful, compassionate, takes time for her patients you never feel that she is rushing to get you out of the chair for the next patient. The entire staff are wonderful. Been going to this office for over 5 years and I see the same employees.

Alexa Carrara Benzell is a thoughtful and compassionate general and cosmetic dentist based in Tucson, AZ. Dr. Carrara accomplished her undergraduate career at the University of Arizona and earned her dental degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. Presently, she serves as staff dentist at the Southern Arizona Veterans Hospital Dental Clinic.
Dr. Carrara is practiced at performing a myriad of dental procedures ranging from routine dental cleanings to more complicated processes, such as implant installations. Also included in Dr. Carrara’s impressive catalogue of dental operations are periodontal surgeries, simple and complex restorative treatments, fixed and removable prosthesis installations, and teeth whitening.
Dr. Carrara strives to stay current for her patients and provide them with the best comprehensive dental care available. She makes it a priority to educate her patients on the importance of healthy oral habits and is also very sensitive to their needs and comfort. Her consultations are routinely thorough and precise. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
