If I could give this dentist office more stars I would! The staff was very welcoming, caring and informative! At my first checkup here, they checked things I never had done at any other dental office! For example, checking if I have oral cancer, they also felt for any issues that was around my neck, ears and jaws just to see if I have any muscle tightness or if there was something that shouldn’t be there! Examined for everything! And I have never had that at any other dental office ever!!! After my exam I got a dental goodie bag!!!! Love the staff and Dr. Barsky definitely will recommend everyone to go there! ??

Since graduating from the New York University College of Dentistry in 1986, I have been actively engaged in the development of the highest quality, cosmetically oriented dental office on Long Island, and a truly patient-centered dental practice. Every dentist has been trained to provide dental services such as crowns, bridges, dentures, porcelain veneers, root canals, implants and a host of other dental procedures. That is what dentists do. What sets our office apart from all the rest is that we really do CARE about our patient's needs and go above and beyond all expectations to deliver the best care possible - painlessly and easily.
I am very proud of the fact that I had graduated at the top 3% of my graduating class, completed post-doctoral level training in gum disease diagnosis and treatment, both surgically and non-surgically, and was one of 6 out of over 500 dental student applicants chosen to complete an elite post-doctoral graduate hospital residency program at North Shore University Hospital / LIJ Hospital in 1987, where I became an attending dentist and had continued to teach dental students and doctors for the subsequent 15 years. I had completed a 12 months advanced MaxiCourse study in the placement and restoration of dental implants at the NYU/ Cornell University in 1996 and frequently attend numerous post doctoral continuing education study courses in all aspects of dentistry to deliver the most up-to-date dental care using the latest techniques and technology available. I am a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and always abide by the principles set forth by this organization to deliver the best care possible to my patients.
But, what I am truly proud of most of all is the fact that I was able to achieve not only the highest levels of clinical expertise, but hearing countless patients tell me that they are actually HAPPY to see me , are very pleased with the services they've received and will gladly refer their friends and relatives to me for dental care. There is no better compliment to me than that. The same statements are reiterated to the office staff, and that is what makes us so very different!
On a personal note, I have been happily married to my wife, Ella, for over 27 years and have been a Long Island resident for the past 20 years.

Dr Barsky is the BEST!!!
I have had countless surgeries/braces etc and have been around dentists all my life, it is one expensive grill I have haha..
I found Dr Barsky last year on google with good reviews so I decided to give him a shot since he is 5mins from where I work. I am glad I did! He is good, very gentle with his hands and does an awesome job, you will not feel the pain I promise you. His technician does the best cleanup, she spends decent amount of time cleaning your teeth. I have had plenty of cleanups.. this one is by far the best I have had. Ella handles the front desk, she is a sweetheart. This is an excellent dental clinic and good people running it, it may be a little pricy but I am happy to pay the extra $ for what I am getting.

The day I booked my visit with Dr Alexander I was in excruciating ?? pain.. so bad i knew if the tooth wasn't out in 24hrs my next visit was the hospital...flash forward to my visit.. I was greeted with smiles all across the office the staff knew exactly who I was and were awaiting my arrival.. My exam went smooth Dr Alexander saw my gruesome tooth and told me if I waited shortly he would take it out TODAY... after some time passed I was called into his roomy and comfortable exam room he explained exactly what needed to be done and he got to work with the extraction. I had been in the chair all of maybe 15 mins and my tooth was out and I didn't feel a thing. That's when I realized I had found my dentist and I would commit to the upkeep and care for my teeth with Dr Alexander... thank you again ??

Dr. Barsky was very professional & caring. Having horrible experiences with dentists & dental work prior to coming to Dr. Barsky left me skeptical but once I sat in his chair & spoke w/ him I felt like the wait of the world has been lifted off my shoulders. I finally feel like my teeth are in the right track to getting fixes the right way. I am so happy I found Dr. Barsky.
