Came here for an issue with a bonded retainer I've had for over a decade. Dr. Fermanis was professional, kind, and took time to understand my concerns before diving in. I also appreciated that she gave an honest assessment of my options without pushing any one solution on me. The office assistants and front desk staff were all very nice and knowledgable as well.
Wait time was a little longer than anticipated, but Dr. Fermanis gave me periodic updates as the previous patient was taking longer than expected. Once the appointment started it was very efficient and the experience was so pleasant overall I didn't mind. Highly recommend on the whole!

We chose Dr. Fermanis based on a referral from my son's pediatric dentist. Although it was just an initial consultation, Dr. Fermanis was very caring and attentive with my son. She gave me clear information about our options and what we could expect going forward. We will definitely return!

I’ve always believed that a beautiful smile makes a great first impression. I feel very fortunate to be in a profession where I can provide that to my patients. I love meeting new and interesting people every day. I learn so much from my patients and their families and I hope they learn from me as well! Orthodontics is a great profession because I get to work with adults and kids, improve their appearance and self-confidence, and really make a difference in their lives.
I regularly attend both local and national continuing education seminars. Orthodontics is constantly evolving, and I believe in working hard to stay at the forefront of the latest clinical techniques and technological advancements. It is my goal to provide the best treatment alternatives for my patients and deliver the highest quality and most efficient orthodontic care.
I’ve lived in New York City my entire life, except for the four years I spent in beautiful upstate New York for school. I love running: I’ve completed two NYC marathons, but right now I’m trying to stick to a more manageable distance of half-marathons. I also love traveling, photography, cooking, and of course eating!

My bottom row permanent retainer had come loose from years of having it in place, put in by a different orthodontist. The backing was still stuck to my tooth. Dr. Fermanis had a lot of trouble removing it which was extremely painful and a very long appointment. Her and the staff were very kind, I just wasn't expecting such a painful experience. The space is very small and a bit rundown, but the orthodontist and staff were very nice.

I am definitely going back. Dr. Fermanis was thorough, answered all my questions, was super friendly and even saved me money. At first, I was skeptical because the hallway to the office is not in the best condition, but the office itself is very nice!
