Born in the Dominican Republic, Dr. Michel moved to Puerto Rico where she completed dental school at the University of Puerto Rico. She then came to New York City where she did both a general practice residency and pediatric dental residency at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital. She has been practicing pediatric dentistry for nine years and lives in Yonkers.
As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Michel specializes in helping your child's oral health and providing care in a comfortable, age-appropriate setting. She provides both routine and specialty oral health care for infants, children, adolescents, and persons with special health care needs.
After four years of dental school, Dr. Michel completed two years of additional specialty training, which included in-depth experiences in preventive care, growth and development, behavior management techniques, treatment of traumatic injuries, and treatment using both sedation and general anesthesia. Dr. Michel is a board certified pediatric dentist diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentists.

My son came in with lots of cavities. Dr. Michel manage to do all the work within two weeks period. Their nitrous oxide (laughing gas) they provide made my son feel happy and relaxed.
