Dr. Allison Cohen was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Cohen attended University of Florida, and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology. Upon completion of her undergraduate, Dr. Cohen moved back to her hometown and attended Nova Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine, where she received the Academy of General Dentistry Senior Dental Student Award . After dental school Dr. Cohen completed a General Practice Residency at Denver Health, to achieve extensive dental training. After completion of her residency, Dr. Cohen loved the lifestyle of Colorado and entered private practice.
Dr. Cohen is very involved in different dental organizations and study clubs, allowing her to complete many hours of continuing education per year . She is an active member of the: American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metropolitan Denver Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, Colorado Prosthodontics Society, Spear Study Group, and Denver Implant Study Club.
On her free time, Dr. Cohen enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, yoga, skiing, and spending time with friends and family trying out new restaurants.
