Dr. Henry provided excellent service and was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. She provided a thorough examination as I was a new patient, and performed the cleaning herself (something that surprised me as I was not used to that in the past). She explained everything and made sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment. Also, this was one of the least painful dentist experiences I've had in my entire life. I highly recommend Dr. Amanda Henry!

Dr. Amanda Henry received her dental degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2012. She was the recipient of the Golden Scaler Award and enhanced her education through a month long study at the Sun Yat Sen University in Guangzhou, China. Dr. Henry is an honors graduate with a degree in biology from Indiana University, where she was also elected to Phi Beta Kappa honor society.
Furthering her commitment to providing excellent dental care, Dr. Henry is continuing her education as a faculty club member at the Spear Dental Education Center. She is also affiliated with the Illinois State Dental Society and Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Henry is a third generation dentist in her family. Her love of dentistry allows her to connect with patients and help them achieve their healthiest, most beautiful smiles! She is a Chicago native and enjoys traveling, taking Spanish classes, and teaching yoga in her free time.

Dr. Henry was by far the best dentist I've ever been to! She was very friendly & personable, she made sure I was comfortable during both of my visits. She took the time to answer any questions I had and throughly explained everything to me through out my appointment. She really cares about her patients & I appreciate that!
The staff was also very friendly... Every single person! It's a very clean, very welcoming, & a very comfortable place! I usually never look forward to going back to the dentist, but I definitely will now!

I'm not sure that you are supposed to be impressed after a dental visit, but, I really was. So I'm happy to write a positive feedback note.
Dr Amanda seemed like a genuinely good person that likes her job, and it showed.
The small work that I had done was not a big deal at all. In fact the next day I couldn't even tell anything happened despite being warned I could experience some pain.
She was great, I would certainly recommend her, and I'll be back when the time comes.

Amanda Henry was the sweetest! The whole staff was incredibly pleasant and I was seen right away. TVs in the rooms were a nice distraction from the work being done on my mouth. Best dentist experience ever.

Dr. Henry was great at describing each of the procedures before she performed them. I also appreciated that she consistently checked in with me as she was completing the procedures, just to make sure I was doing okay.
My last dentist visit was five years ago, where the dentist accused me of not taking care of my teeth and insisting I come in at least two more times so that he could clean my teeth properly. Needless to say, I wasn't encouraged to schedule subsequent dentist visits.
I finally decided to go see a dentist, and Dr. Henry was the best visit I had ever had. She was honest, encouraging, and she did a thorough cleaning, completely removing all discoloration from my teeth...in one visit! I was raving about her so much that my roommate and boyfriend immediately scheduled appointments with her.

This is hands down the best dentist ever. All of my girlfriends see Dr. Henry- soon my whole office! We recommend her to everyone. She is sharp, kind, and very efficient with her appointments. She answers every question and even does personal follow ups on your well being! If there was a sixth star, I would give it to Dr. Henry. I also think it adds to her credibility that she is a third generation Dentist in her family.

Lovely bedside manner. She explained what she was doing as she went and then talked about the different care plans when we were finished. By the end of my appointment, the woman at the front desk had printed out the complete care plan with the totals as well as a few options that I had talked about with the doctor. It was so nice to see what I would be paying clearly and I was able to make a decision about what I wanted for my next appointment.

Everyone I encountered during my visit was friendly and professional. There was no wait time. Dr. Henry herself is patient and careful to explain what's going on at every stage. At no point did I get the sense unnecessary procedures were being considered, and I definitely felt like Dr. Henry and her staff were looking out for my best interests. The team and Doctor was very informative and let me know what was going on the entire time. They were very professional and quick to get me in and out. The reception area can be cold and drafty with the front door directly exposed to the outdoors, but the office overall was clean and in newer condition. Overall it was a great experience.
