Through various life experiences, such as being the vice-president of the International House at IUPUI and living in different parts of the United States, Dr. Leer believes she has a better understanding of people from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
Outside of work you can find Dr. Leer exercising in an infrared sauna, cycling and spending time with her family.
