Dr. Benedetti grew up in South Florida, with a Brazilian heritage. Her academic credentials are stellar! She graduated from the University of Miami, Magna cum Laude, with degrees in Biology and Spanish, and then pursued her dental training from the University of Florida School of Dentistry, where she graduated number three in her class and received the Research Honors Award. She was excited to have the opportunity to continue her training at the prestigious Medical College of Virginia where she obtained her certificate in Orthodontics as well as her Master of Science in Dentistry.
For the last couple of years Dr. Benedetti practiced in West Palm Beach, Coral Gables and most recently Richmond, Virginia. She is experienced in the latest technologies, such as Self-Ligating brackets, lingual braces, temporary anchorage devices, Invisalign®, Invisalign® Teen, as well as soft tissue lasers.
Dr. Benedetti has received several honors and awards. In 2006 she received The Pierre Fauchard Academy Certificate of Merit for outstanding achievements in dentistry. That same year she received a certificate for Ethics and Professionalism from the American College of Dentists. In 2009, Dr. Benedetti was awarded both the “Top new Orthodontist in South Florida” and “Woman of the Year in Dental Health” awards.
She is married to Dr. Brad Benedetti, a chemist who focuses on cancer research. When Dr. Benedetti and her husband are not working, they enjoy traveling, dining out, and outdoor activities with their three dogs.
Dr. Benedetti has an enthusiasm and zest for life that is contagious! She knows how much Dr. Tight was loved and respected in the community. She is committed to continuing to provide patients with the best care in South Florida.
