Dr. Serrenho attended Lesley University for her undergraduate studies. She was accepted into the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine at Boston University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. During her studies, she was selected to the Massachusetts Dental Society Leadership Institute, a program designed to train the next generation of leaders in dental medicine.
Dr. Serrenho continued her studies at Boston University, earning a Masters of Science in Dentistry (MSD) and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) in the Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics Department. She is an active member of the American Dental Association- Massachusetts Dental Society, the American Association of Orthodontics, and the World Federation of Orthodontics. In addition to her academic career, Dr. Serrenho has significant experience in clinical research in dental medicine, and speaks fluent Portuguese and Spanish. She has been actively involved in volunteer activities promoting dental health, including mission trips to Mexico and Cape Verde.
Dr. Serrenho currently resides in Boston. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, music, walking her Pomeranians, and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys orthodontics because it helps people transform their smiles and improve their oral health.
