Dr. Anahita Tajbakhsh ( Dr. Taj) received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University, College of Dentistry in 2011. She completed her Hospital Residency and General Practice Residency at St. Elizabeth Hospital, where she was recognized for her research on the the relationship between wearing dental prosthesis and recurrent pneumonia. She was selected to lecture for hundreds of dental and medical professionals, drawing attention to the relationship between oral cavity and the rest of human body.
She currently serves as an Attending Lecturer and Research Associate at the University of California Los Angeles, Department of Advanced Prosthodontics. She is leading several research programs on the impact of and emergency patient rates, in addition to serving as a consultant for dental manufacturing companies.
Her research and academic ties to local universities allow Dr. Taj to establish a valuable partnerships between technological gurus and the clinical community, enabling her to offer her patients the most advanced and comprehensive care.
Dr. Taj believes in continuous advancement of her knowledge and education. She received her Exodontist privileging in February 2015, and is a fellow at the Academy of Laser Dentistry. Her advanced training and comprehensive knowledge of medicine makes her a gem when it comes to treating medically compromised patients. Dr. Taj has received recognition for her work and research studies in several countries and has dedicated her career to advancement of dental technology and educating dental professionals. Dr. Taj is known amongst her peers as "the super dentist"!
