About Dr. Forrest:
Dr. Forrest has been practicing dentistry for 12 years. He is a specialist in Periodontics and Dental Implantology. He attended Florida State University where he studied Biochemistry. He graduated from Nova Southeastern University, College of Dental Medicine. His research on the interdisciplinary management of Cancer Treatment, Irradiation Therapy, and Implantology was completed at the University of Miami in 2001. This research awarded him the Straumann ITI Implant Dentistry Scholarship Award. While attending Dental School, Dr. Forrest completed two Periodontics externships, the first at New York University and the latter at Harvard University. He completed his externship in Anesthesiology at the VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Forrest completed his three year specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Surgery at the University of Florida, Shands Hospital. During that time, he also completed his Masters Degree with a focus on Oral Immunology. His heritage in the dental profession spans three generations. Presently, Dr. Forrest has a teaching appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Florida. The focus of his practice centers upon the surgical reconstruction of supporting tissues for the preservation of teeth and Dental Implantology. To date, Dr. Forrest has placed more than 5,000 dental implants. He lectures to other dentists on how dental implants can improve a patient’s quality of life cosmetically and functionally. Dr. Forrest is also a faculty reviewer for the Periodontics Chapter in a McGraw Hill textbook. Currently, he is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Florida Association of Periodontists, and the Memorial Hospital Dental Study Club.

I am so happy there are still compassionate, caring, and polite people in this world. From the begining of setting up the appointment with Michele, to meeting the Dr. I couldn't have asked for better and personal care. All the girls in the front and the assistants were so great. I thoroughly enjoyed my first visit at Premier Dental Group, even tho I had a tooth extracted. Everything was first class and the staff was very professional in everything they did. The prices given to me were fair and reasonable. I only wish I would have heard of this office sooner. I look forward to continuing my visits at Premier Dental Group in order to get my mouth and teeth up to par. Thanks for the very pleasant experience.
