Dr. Lermer received his DDS degree at SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Lermer continued his post-doctorate training at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset. As a resident, Dr. Lermer has had the opportunity to work with nationally renowned general dentists and specialists. It was under their tutelage that he developed the skills necessary to treat complex patients in need of full mouth reconstruction.
Dr. Lermer is commited to a lifelong pursuit of education and to providing the very best for his patients. As such, he is currently completing a two year fellowship program at North Shore University Hospital in surgical implant placement and implant prosthetics.
Dr. Lermer dedicates much of his spare time to community service. He has participated in dental outreach in conjunction with the United States Public Health Service’s division of Indian Health Service, providing much needed surgical and restorative dentistry to an undeserved population. In addition, he has been serving the local New York City community as a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician for the past 10 years.
Dr. Lermer resides in Kew Gardens Hills, Queens with his wife and two children.
