Dr. Anthony Marra was born and raised in Fairmont, West Virginia. At West Virginia University Dr.Marra majored in biology, minored in communications, and history. After his undergraduate studies, he attended West Virginia School of Dentistry. In 2010, Dr. Marra earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Dr. Marra is active in a variety of civic and cultural organizations. He is also, an advocate for proper dental care in under served 3rd world countries. He has traveled to Central and South America on dental and Medical missions brigades. In 2009, Dr.Marra traveled to Guatemala as a dental student.
In 2011, while on a mission trip with The Timmy Global health Foundation in conjunction with Davidson College, Dr.Marra provided dental care to people living in villages outside of Quito, Ecuador.
Dr.Marra is a member of American Dental Association and North Carolina Dental Society.
In his free time, Dr.Marra enjoys traveling, golfing, and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Marra’s philosophy about dental care focuses on patient education. He strives to provide a patient centered practice.

Had 2 fillings fixed today and it went great. He told me several times to make sure and let him know if I had any problems in the future. Would recommend to anyone!!!

Fabulous Experience, even at a dentist office! I had two sets of bridges completed so I was at the office several times. Dr. Marra and the entire staff from the receptionist, admin, and all the dental assistants were professional, friendly, kind, compassionate, and took their time explaining everything. Appointments were always on time, no wait, and I always felt like I was there only patient;not rushed, or left in a room for any length of time, they took their time answering all of my questions, and we even found time to enjoy the experience and company, including some humor, even in a dentist office!
Great experience, and would definitely recommend Dr. Marra!

As long as Dr. Marra is within driving distance of where I live, I will always drive to his office. He is the most professional dentist I have ever used and his bedside manner is unmatched!! He is a perfectionist and cares about his work and your comfort. I'd make the choice for him to be my dentist over and over again. Don't take my word for it. Go give him a try! You will know what I mean!

This was my first time to a dentist since I was a child, which is embarrassing to say. But, everyone was so nice and understanding. Dana the hygienist was so gentle with me. Dr. Marra is the most gentle and understanding dentist I have ever met. He explained everything to me to where I could understand it. The whole office was wonderful. I was very nervous to be there but everyone made the whole experience amazing.

I had my initial patient exam today with Dana and Dr. Maria. Dana did a great job cleaning my teeth. I could see that I had some buildup on my teeth and I didn't feel a thing when she removed it. Dr. Maria was very professional and took his time explaining my x-rays to me. I have already recommended several of my friends to the practice.
