I love my visits with Dr. Rodriguez at Starland Dentistry. He is always professional and super knowledgable. Both he and his staff are friendly and strive to make you as comfortable as possible during your visits. The crowns I have had put in by Dr. Rodriguez have fit better than any in the past. He makes sure they fit perfectly every time!

Dr. Ariel Julian Rodriguez was born in Havana, Cuba grew up in Miami, Florida. He graduated from Brown University in 1998 with honors. In 2002, he graduated from UCSF, School of Dentistry. Over his career, he has worked in both public health and private practice. He’s inspired by the possibility of giving back to the world and he strives to create a workplace that gives back to people in unique and unexpected ways.
Drawn to the glamour and style of southern California, he choose to move here and dream big. So he started designing a practice that is an offering and homage to the alliance of art, nature, and material science that is Dentistry. His inspiration is born of a love for beautiful and pragmatic things. Heroes of his, Ray and Charles Eames, designed and inspired an era in which beauty could be found in technology. Much the way that Charles and Ray Eames created chairs that defined the art of sitting, Dr. Rodriguez strives to provide something that informs the art of smiling.
He believes that “a smile should be more than a facial expression formed by flexing the muscles near the end of the mouth. It’s an opportunity to express delight in living. It’s the physical manifestation of happiness, an invitation to conversation or a kiss, a communication of camaraderie. And it can be a possibility of much more. Smiles should be unique and easy.”

Ariel is an amazing dentist with a wonderful office. He's calm and friendly and does really great work. The receptionist is not the friendliest over the phone and booking appointments can get confusing with her. Hygienist was good, but her bedside manner was lacking. Ariel is a real gem though and I will return.

Dr. Rodriguez is a compassionate and caring Dr. I have been going to him for about 3 years. He is professional and understanding. When moving to the U.S. I was worried I wouldn't find anyone that I could trust as I did with my former Dentist, he has proven to be as good if not better then my previous Dentist who I had gone to for many years.

Doctor Rodriguez is a great dentist, a very caring person. He listens to my treatment needs and is very gentle in his work. He also has a great staff including Stephanie who manages the front desk, Aiida his assistant, and Andrea who cleans my teeth. All are professional, gentle, caring and friendly. I've been very happy with the quality of Doctor Rodriguez's work on my teeth, and I trust his judgement as to what needs to be done to preserve my smile. He will be my dentist for life

The staff is extremely welcoming & courteous the office and rooms are clean & organized w/comfortable accomodations. The doctor does fantastic work and doesn't make you wait. He is also very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions and make recommendations based on the patients best interests. I actually enjoy going to the dentist now.

This was the best experience at a dentist I have ever had...by far. The pace is relaxed and unhurried. Dr. Rodriguez is up on the latest in dental research and carefully explains the process of treatment. The technology is state of the art, the office is run impeccably and the staff is friendly. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes and scheduling an appointment is easy. This man is real. He truly cares about you as a person and is concerned about your wellbeing all along the way. I wish all my doctors were like him. I couldn't recommend Starland Dentistry more highly.
