Arman J. Yazdan, DDS, is an experienced oral surgeon at The Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Specialists of New York in Forest Hills, and Jamaica, New York. Dr. Yazdan is a lifelong New Yorker and graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in New York City at the top of his class. Afterward, he completed a general practice residency at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York City, where he perfected his dentistry skills.
Dr. Yazdan also completed an internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Lincoln Medical Center in South Bronx, followed by a four-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery. During his last residency year at Lincoln Medical Center, he served as a chief resident.
He also has extensive training in office-based anesthesia, including intravenous (IV) conscious sedation for all patients, especially those struggling with dental anxiety.
Before becoming a partner at The Oral & Maxillofacial surgery Specialists, Dr. Yazdan worked in private practice and served as an attending oral surgeon at Lincoln Medical Center’s level one trauma unit.
He maintains his advanced dental credentials with continuing education. He has had numerous research articles published in world-renowned journals, including the European Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Yazdan truly adores his profession working in oral and maxillofacial surgery and takes pride in offering compassionate, cutting-edge care to his patients.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Yazdan loves to spend time with his family in Long Island and support the New York Knicks, Giants, and Yankees. Dr. Arman Yazdan first told he will do the extraction after getting the preauthorization from insurance over phone. But after going to his private room, he changed his mind and send an assistant to tell that he will perform the extraction with another appointment. I told the assistant to talk with him directly but the assistant refuses by excusing him " he is busy with another
patient. I don't understand how he can go to another patient without relieving the current patient. This is out of decency and a bad practice also

I waited an hour and a half after my scheduled appointment to be seen by the doctor. When the doctor finally came in, he looked at my X-ray picture for about 5 seconds and told me I needed a tooth extraction. I told him what the referring doctor said and he proceeded to rush me into a decision by saying “you can do what you want somewhere else but I’ll pull it out.” It was such a rushed and rude expierence. I would not recommend.

There isn't enough wonderful words in all the world -to say how amazing the doctor and office staff are. I mean truly special people. Dr. Arman Yazdan, is exceptional. His bedside manner is so kind, explains everything and makes you feel very,very much at ease. I highly recommend him. Sometimes when people write this nice of a review, you say its friends or family.... I picked him randomly off Zocdoc and hit the jackpot. No bs. I went in with a mouth sore and left singing ;-) The office staff is a pure pleasure!!!!!! I want to hang out and bring them all lunch. Thats how much i loved them all.
