Dr. Arti Patel's interest in dentistry originally stemmed from her passion for art and science. She enjoys how dentistry uniquely combines both fields in order to create healthy teeth and beautiful smiles. She spent several years in India working with non-profits in the health sector to serve in underserved communities where she was inspired by the resolute commitment of so many leaders in their fields to make others' lives better. She returned to the US to complete her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Howard University in Washington DC, after which she did her General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center where she focused on cosmetic dentistry. Since then, Dr. Patel completed a one year fellowship in Implantology associated with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
When she is not in the office, Dr. Patel enjoys cooking old and new recipes from all over the world. A self-proclaimed lifelong learner, she enjoys non-fiction reading, traveling to new places, and game nights with family and friends.

I haven't gone to a dentist besides for the one I had from my childhood, and I couldn't have had a better experience. Dr. Patel was very knowledgeable, informative, and had an amazing bedside manner when she was taking care of my filling today. I came during my lunch break and hardly had to wait today or when I got my teeth cleaned 2 weeks ago!

I am a new patient just moved to New York. I did my research to find a good dentist. I don't have insurance so I decided to give this place a try. They offer in house membership I'm glad to found them. My doctor who is Dr. Patel is amazing.
