Dr. Asha Vellanki received her Bachelors Degree in Dental Surgery from Chennai, India and her D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) from Loma Linda School of Dentistry in California. Dr. Vellanki is board certified and a member of the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association. She has been in private practice since 2000. Dr. Vellanki speaks four languages: English, Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
Dr. Vellanki is a leader in the dental community, having served as the former President of the Georgia Indian Dental Association (GIDA). She is also a dental access advocate, volunteering with the Special Olympics: Special Smiles program, GMOM and free dental camps in the community. She believes in giving back to the community here and back home. In the Atlanta community, she has been a longtime supporter of Vibha, a platinum rated NGO, providing education and opportunities for underprivileged children in India.
Dr. Vellanki is very dedicated to her patients and believes in comprehensive, courteous and responsive care for her patients. She loves the field of dentistry and is continually updating her knowledge and dental skills by attending many hours of advanced clinical course both locally and throughout the country.
Dr. Vellanki resides in Norcross with her husband Sravan and two daughters. Besides dentistry she loves to cook, travel and spending time with family among many other things. Dr. Vellanki looks forward to helping you with your dental needs.
