Dr. Joobbani took time to explain to me in great detail the state of my teeth as well as ways I could improve. He and his staff were delightful and very accommodating. Although he did recommend several things, his staff explained what was and was not covered under my insurance and they were not overly pushy either. They also appear to use state-of-the-art equipment and everything can be setup online - a MAJOR plus!

I finally got my veneer in.!
I am always nervous about going to the dentist but I am happy to say I did not feel a thing! I had to get numb to start the process and Dr Joobani did his best to make me feel at ease. He walked me through every step and it was over before I even knew it.

Dr. Babak Joobbani grew up in Bethesda, MD. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland in College Park. Immediately after, he began his dental education at the UMD Baltimore College of Dental Surgery where he earned his degree of Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) in May of 2009. While at UMD he participated in programs such as the Ronald McDonald House and joined Operation Smile for dental missions to Vietnam.
After graduation Dr. Joobbani attended an elective General Practice Residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. While attending his residency, he greatly expanded his knowledge in all aspects of dentistry including removable and fixed prosthetics, cosmetic dentistry, full mouth reconstruction and received advanced training in Oral Surgery/Implantology and Conscious Sedation procedures.
Dr. Joobbani currently practices in Columbia, MD. He is a member of The American Dental Association, The Maryland State Dental Association, and The Howard County Dental Association. He is continuously taking continuing education courses on the latest advancements and newest technologies in dentistry so he can offer the best to his patients. Dr. Joobbani takes great pride in achieving superior esthetics with the best materials available. He is passionate about the art of dentistry and focuses on delivering quality care to his patients.

First, the receptionist was very nice and the entire staff was personable and down to earth. The hygienist was very informative about preventative care and maintenence of my teeth. Everyone was professional and took their jobs seriously. The office was very clean and the dentist gave me a water bottle because I mentioned how hot it was outside. I absolutely would recommend Dr. Joobbani to anyone, family or friend.

It's hard finding a great dentist but I rolled the dice and chose Dr Joobani. It was my first visit and I went in for a veneer, since the one I had on my left front tooth was coloring ( I had it done over 8 years ago)- Let me add I needed it done as soon as possible due to a wedding a few weeks away. Dr Joobani got me in right away and started the process. He was very knowledgable, reassuring and confident in his work. During the removable of the old veneer Dr Joobanni walked me through every step and wasn't rough like some dentist can be.

Excellent. Had a chipped tooth, and he saw me within an hour. Recently, had a temporary crown that came off. He took me early and fixed it right away. Excellent bedside manner. He tells you exactly what he's doing every step of the way. Love Dr. Jobbani!!
