Dr. Makagon grew up in the Seattle area and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Washington, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. She briefly left her beloved Pacific Northwest to attend the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduating from dental school, Dr. Makagon was accepted into Boston University’s highly competitive postgraduate program (Advanced Education in General Dentistry), where she gained extensive experience in all disciplines of dentistry and dental practice. Dr. Makagon worked in Boston for several years before relocating back to the Seattle area, where she continued to hone her skills as an associate. Having practiced dentistry for the better part of a decade, she founded Prestige Dental – a practice that is modeled after her own principles of careful attention to detail and deep personal respect.

Office stuff was efficient at all. Had to spent a lot of time afterwards waiting to fill in paper work. Some of the stuff that I filled out before the appointment got lost apparently. Also scheduling turned out to be a headache. So I just moved to another dentist.

She listened to my questions and gave understandable and reasoned responses, which was very much appreciated. I was also impressed that she called the next day to see how I was doing (I was fine). It was as good an experience as possible.

This was my first visit to Dr Makagon's office and I can say with confidence that she will be my dentist as long as I am in Seattle. Everyone whom I spoke. with was very professional and very courteous. Tamara at the front desk was very nice and knowledgeable, as was Michaela (spelling?) the dental assistant.
The office is very clean and very cozy feeling. You are offered a hot neck wrap and also asked if you would like to watch anything on TV during your visit.
Dr Makagon was beyond great! She made me feel very comfortable during my visit and was very thorough when it came to explaining things which I asked about.
I have already recommended her to numerous people, one who has already had a visit with her and agreed that it was one of the best dentist experience they have had.

I really enjoyed my visit today. The office is beautiful and all of the staff members and friendly and helpful. I loved the connection between state-of-the art technology (digital x-rays, real time pictures of my teeth, ipads everywhere) and bedside manner (staff inquiring about my comfort and concerns, a heated neck pillow!). I'd recommend Dr. Makagon and the office to anyone looking to be pampered while at the dentist (seriously!).

This was my very first visit to Dr. Bella, and she will definitely be my first choice for dental care. The office had a very upscale feel about it, along with the professionalism of her staff. She was very receptive of my needs while in the chair, and though I'm not an easy dental patient, she made me feel as comfortable as possible. They have a TV and a Roku box along with shaded glasses and headphones. It was the most relaxed visit that I could have expected.

I loved it! I heard important things that no other dentist has ever told me! I didn't feel shamed for how long it had been, the dental assistant was really helpful and she explained everything she was doing (because I usually have a lot of fear). I loved the hi-tech xrays and being able to see my teeth (they use a little camera to show you). Also, the staff was super friendly, communicative, and clear. Loved that.

Dr Makagon is an amazing dentist, very gentle and kind, as are her staff, which worked well for me as I am terrified of dentists. The practice is clean, aesthetically pleasing and complete with high end dental technology. I highly recommend Dr Makagon and her practice.

It was good, I'm not a big fan of visiting the dentist but it was relatively painless and she was thorough and explained everything to me well. Also, my girlfriend says she loves the way my teeth look after the cleaning! :-)

It was overall a good informative visit. Dr Makagon had very pleasant bedside manner, but more importantly was extremely knowledgeable! She noticed things about my teeth that need attention that no other dentist has noticed or talked to me about. Her hygienist was on vacation, so she was kind enough today to do my cleaning the same day as my consultation. That made me very happy. Ill be seeing her quit a lot this year it sounds like and I’m not too scared about it. Teeth stuff is not my favorite hence why I haven’t gone to dentist in a couple years.
Last but not least they do these little comfort things like a hand paraffin wax and a warm blanket. They also warm up a neck warmer for you. I was confused and speechless when all this was offered but oh wow it made the whole time more relaxing. So far it was great. Front desk lady was lovely as well!

As wonderful as a visit to the dentist can get. Probably the best experience I've had going to a dentist. Classy office and wonderful staff. Getting to listen to Pandora radio during the cleaning really helped ease my anxieties. Dr. Makagon was very personable, nurturing, and yet professional. I booked my next appointments with her right after my first visit.Highly recommend.

I was thoroughly impressed with all the staff at Prestige. Jacob at the front was extremely helpful and polite. My vehicle was taken care of through valet so parking was no problem. The office itself looks grande. Jacob performed some x-rays, and we talked about various things. It was all very comfortable. I then met Dr. Makagon who was professional, nice, and skillful. Also, I was able to watch an episode of 24 while getting my teeth cleaned. All-in-all, an enjoyable experience. Thank you!

Inviting atmosphere with valet parking, spa-like wax treatment for hands, hot wrap for neck, personal TV, and friendly staff. I was impressed that Dr. Makagon was able to make my teeth look so clean, as I hadn't been to the dentist in years! She is a great dentist who really cares!
