Dr. Ben was great, I was so scared of getting a root canal but everyone there made it such an ease. The ladies in the front and the dental assistants were all sweet and professional. This has to be one of the easiest dental experiences I’ve had to date. Dr. Ben was professional and patient he made me feel very comfortable and ensured I felt no pain. Thank you so much .

The location given on ZocDocs lead me to the wrong address and I had to walk many blocks before finding the actual office.
The actual appointment was so fast I didn't really feel the doctor was doing the job properly to ensure my teeth were healthy. It felt more of a quick 10 minute clean for a big paycheck...

Dr. Ben Mokhtar graduated from SUNY Stony Brook in 1995. He has been practicing dentistry for fifteen years. He specialized in preventative dentistry, restoration, reconstruction, rehabilitation, cosmetics and implants. Braces and invisalign are also a part of his numerous dental abilities. He combines invisalign braces as a part of his cosmetic makeover. Dr. Ben's portfolio consists of small space closure using composite banding, laminated & a full mouth Hollywood smile makeover.
Dr. Ben's Implantology emphasizes on tissue punch technique with minimum invasive and minimum time so that the patient can be back to their normal daily routines immediately. He is a fellow member of the International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI), and an associate beneficiary of the American Association of Implant Dentistry (AAID).
Treating phobic and gag reflex patients are one of Dr. Ben's greatest achievements. He provides a relaxing and peaceful environment for such patients and offers techniques to overcome their difficulties. (See patient testimonies)

The receptionist was very pleasant, she needs to train the dental assistant and the dentist because they are lacking what customer service is. I got to the appointment early, like half hour early. After my name was called I then went in the room to be seen my the dentist. Mind you this is a consultation, I was prepped by the dental assistant and sat there waiting for over 30 minutes before the dentist came in just to say “let me see your bite” I showed him, then his reply was wow “ do you want Invisalign or regular braces. He just told be the prices for both then say think about it. He left me to think about it for another 30 mins. Then the receptionist came in to check on me and to see if I was approved to finance the process. After being frustrated of waiting I got up out the chair and left. Honestly I’m not one to leave bad reviews even if I experienced it but this was the worst experience ever! If you’re gonna give shitty service might as well let us pay for the consultation.

Well the staff were friendly and helpful. The doctor had a good bedside manner. And the office was easy to find and clean. The i was not able to get the procedure done that I came for his specialties are implants and cosmetic procedures. Not the tooth extraction that i came to him for . So I was left unsatisfied. But depending on what your looking for he is a good option.

Dr. Mokhtar was very professional and honest about what I needed to get done. He even went as far as contacting my insurance for me to get an prior approval for my wisdom tooth removal amongst other things. He truly cares about his patients and his staff at the office is absolutely wonderful. You are in great hands with him and it definitely will not be my last visit.

I came in with pain in my lower (back) teeth and was told that I’d probably need my gums cut a bit, since they were overgrown/swollen. I still have not gotten a call for that follow-up/cleaning and it’s been weeks. The nurse who assisted with taking x-rays was really aggressive as well. Overall the experience was fine but not too sure about organization.

The front desk were very professional, Received me with a smile even though I was cranky but that was due to the pain I was going through. No wait at all Ben Mokhtar took me right in made me very comfortable. He was straight up with me told me what was the problem and what he could do to eliminate it. Very gentle no pain at all, he does incredible work. It was like night and day especially that I went to a nameless dental office a week before and they could not do for me what Ben Mokhtar did for me. I will be definitely seeing him again for my next visits coming. Thank you so much.

I thought Dr. Mokhtar was an awful dentist. He greatly offended me by suggesting I take my child to a dental school, I guess assuming I could not afford whatever dental care this child would need. He also saw my tooth and suggested an implant... I later saw another doctor that suggested an extensive root canal that fixed my impacted tooth without simply pulling it. One our visit the doctor was smiling a lot, but lacked the ability to communicate properly. Slightly unpleasant, mildly annoying, and inadequately trained.

Had to wait only because i walked in. Love the front staff theyre amazing but honestly the dentist needs to learn how to be patient and at least act like you care about patients and stop being so rushy rushy. Thats when you start to notice fewer customers because theyve found a dentist who will. Not returning to him anymore.

The wait was a little long but only because we had to figure out a mix up but overall was a 5 got a tooth pulled and teeth cleaning and didnt feel anything. Literally. Nothing. I couldnt believe he was finished so quick. I love the front desk staff as well they get a 5 star. Customer service is always amazing.
